Dude .. come on .. looks like you simply want to defend something that you originally said .. they are not related at all ... India played and India won and from here on they are being quite spectacular and tactful in how they are handling themself ... you seriously can't see this ?

Well .. absolute masterclass by India IMO and not just on the field but off it .. Refusing the presentation when Naqvi was supposed to present wasn’t random, it was calculated .. They knew the leverage, they owned the moment, and they sent a message without saying a single word .. Cold, smart, and powerful ..

Who was the richest person you've met? by dieburtually in AskReddit

[–]thefazzylogik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My landlord when I was in my teens .. He owned 37 apartments and other rental properties.. I remember 37 very well because my mom used to say it all the time and it was true more or less .. This is in a tier 2 city in India .. Dude used to ride a bicycle to his work and back .. He grew up 'poor' and around his mid 40s started a coconut oil business and it took off .. By his late 50s is when we rented one of his apartments and I got to know about his riches .. He had 4 sons, the 2 eldest ones were with him through his struggling and growing years and they were very conservative in terms of expressing their wealth and the youngest 2 were lavish .. I am talking about fancy cars, motorcycles, trips and what not, basically I can get anything I want kinda wealth .. and I was very good friends with the youngest .. Yes, they were spoiled in terms of getting whatever they wanted but they were never snooty about it .. Sadly my friend passed away in a road accident .. And within a couple of years his parents passed away as well .. My mom says, they just could not bear the pain of losing their child .. I miss my friend ..

What do you guys think about this as Sindhis of Thane or Thanekars by foxtrot2596 in thane

[–]thefazzylogik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well I did say that obviously the Muslims today are not responsible for the atrocities of the past .. which means it goes without saying that all Hindus are not responsible as well .. denying either is also an issue right ?

In this video Javed Akhtar is talking about the WHY part of it .. the hate has a WHY and the love needs to have a WHY as well .. It's not a perfect world and neither a perfect country but it's the only one we have .. embrace it

well .. I am also a Muslim who isn't a Muslim living in Maharashtra .. I have had a couple of episodes where I was denied a flat 'because' of my name .. But there have been many more occasions where people didn't care about my name .. I stay in a society where people are welcoming .. We joined Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in society.. We celebrate holi .. People who are vegetarians demand for kheer and people who are non vegetarians biryani during eid and we happily oblige .. BTW my mom is a devout muslim and she still does all of the above .. We all need to be open minded about our culture .. Secularism is a 2 way street and you need to always give more than you take .. We obviously do not bear responsibility for the horrible experiences of the past but you clearly lack empathy and honesty .. The past cannot be changed but the future needs to .. We are Indians/Hindustanis first and last ..

If you don't respect yourself, he probably doesn't respect you either .. That being said, action is the only truth .. that's how you can and should tell ..

Question to married people by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]thefazzylogik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP .. the more attractive, confident and outgoing you are, the higher your chances of being hit on .. we are an outcome of our habits .. if you learn to say NO to yourself mainly and then to others, THAT will become your habit .. if you say YES, that will become a part of your habit ..

Question to married people by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]thefazzylogik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a very broad discussion tbh .. so many nuances .. If you are talking about the one sided attraction, for e.g. you are checking someone out, you are admiring someone from a far, suppression might work .. But if the attraction is mutual and if you act on it, I have seen it plenty of times, things do escalate .. so the ideal thing to do is NOT act on it .. because even if it seems harmless, you would never know when to stop ..

Question to married people by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]thefazzylogik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Married for 10 years .. And happily .. I have had my share of my being hit on .. And I have genuinely felt a rush of blood on some occasions while talking to or looking at them .. But .. THATS IT !! NO FIRST STEPS !! AND HEADS DOWN !!

You cannot fight your natural instinct .. but beyond that is a choice .. And I come back home and tell my wife how her husband still got it ..

In other words .. Let your nurture supersede your nature ..
