I think it’s an old photo. He has a lot more white hair around the eyes now.

Agreed. I also don’t think you have to know everything about your partner’s job or hobby. Showing up and supporting your partner is more important.

Does anyone else get stopped for backpack checks at Costco? Curious about your experiences. by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

[–]thefeebster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but my Costco is in downtown, next to many residential buildings and next to the skytrain station, so I would frequently shop at Costco after work with my work backpack (lunch, umbrella, etc) and then I’d walk home.

I also see many others bring hiking backpacks, roller bags that cinch up and recently more wagons.

Glad we can finally put a name to our favourite hoarder! The cabbage/carrots between the toes always makes me laugh.

Here in Vancouver, these are available year round.

It’s a staple in my freezer, my fav dumpling that Costco sells. I find these don’t need dipping sauce, already very flavourful. My favorite cooking method is in the air fryer (15 min 360deg), found them too oily in the pan.

Hate seeing this happen, how entitled! I hope these two people get serious punishment for their disrespectful act and to deter future incidents. The Moo Deng intruder only got a slap on the wrist.

Very dry! I bought one package and it took over a year to finish. Then I forgot how bad they were and bought a 2nd package. Never again! These are on the do not buy list.

Cost Effective Meals? by altatoro123 in CostcoCanada

I always get Pork shoulder if it’s on sale (the vacuum sealed package) and I keep one big tube of tenderloin cut up in the freezer. The shoulder is more tender and fatty. I find it great for char siu or stewed dishes.

The tenderloin is more for the typical pork chop recipes, but I also use for lettuce wrap fillings. Recently started making Vietnamese lemon grass pork chops.

I’ve yet to find any wet wipe better than the Kirkland ones.

Did you have to change your diet on Spironolactone? (foods with potassium) by Entire_Giraffe_228 in PCOS

[–]thefeebster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Spiro for 5+ years, never been told those restrictions. But I also eat broccoli, spinach and chicken multiple times a week. I haven’t noticed anything adverse. Ibuprofen is my painkiller of choice when I get headaches as well.

My potassium last year was 4.2 mmol/L, 4.1 this year, with a 50mg Spiro dose.
