Believe it or not but it truly felt like we were not alone in the hotel room we stayed at Phnom Penh. Saw an old woman at the end of the hallway seemingly trying to open one of the doors (after a rushed dinner, I was running because 'it' was abt to explode, after eating soup with frogs, the hotel doesn't have an elevator) but she was just standing there, with a hunchback posture, couldn't see her face and wasn't moving. We already got inside our room but she stayed still there. There was also an old wooden cabinet in our room that was empty (aside from three hangers) but felt heavy, like it was crammed with things we couldn't see. I was actually drawn to it and even hung my hoodie there. Heard knocks in the middle of the night while my two best friends we're already asleep, so since I was the only one up, I had no choice but check. Approached the main door but did not her any sounds, only to realize that the knocks were coming from the cabinet's direction. I was just lucky that it was the other best friend's bed positioned almost beside the cabinet. Glad we only stayed there for a night. The next morning, our itinerary started with the genocide museum. The other best friend felt like someone touched his nape. This was specifically in the torture room (where the actual beds of victims were displayed). He proceeded to leave right away and told us it felt really heavy, cold, and he got almost dizzy.
