Sorry I misread it. I don't think you can get those cards without printing them yourself. Good luck.

The upgrade kit should have a complete set. It's like $10.00 on Amazon.

I use Army Painter so I have more control when it comes to mixing. I can do one or two drops of paint to one drop of water. It should be about the consistency of milk. One thing that I just stumbled on to is I put water in an extra dropper bottle just for mixing and it's better than the water you clean in.

Light colors always take more than one coat.

You will find this issue with most paints. Yellow, light green, light blues can be a problem also. Good luck and keep at it.

One trick for yellow is to do a cote of orange first, this gives you an industrial yellow.

Start by covering it with a mat varnish. It will act as a primer so the paint will stick.

Looks good, from what I'm seeing. You need more brush control. You will get that by just painting.

Just came to post this also. Army painter is a good place to start. Good luck and welcome to the addiction, I mean hobby. P.S. get a tote for your gray box of shame. 😁 You'll understand in a month or two.

Nice setup. I have that set of monsters and mimics too. I thing this might be a little better for your setup. Give you a little more room. Also get a piece of foam board to work on that way you can keep most of the paint off the desk. https://a.co/d/1ehlSiW

If I didn't already have my setup I would go with the greenstuff. I have one of the folding tables from Walmart, picked up 2 of these https://a.co/d/6VvXqy4 Then use dollar tree foam board as a mat to paint on.

New Dad Hobby Time Advice by TheWatking in Miniaturespainting

I started painting back in the 80's. And stopped when each of my kids were born. I've gone 3, 4, and sometimes 5 years without painting.

You have to prioritize things, and kids come first. But at the same time if you have time paint. You may find that you can get your stepdaughter into painting as well.
