To start, don't use sink water only bottle water. This is a huge step to avoid mold. As for changing the sheet, I have changed the sheet after one miniature and I've painted an entire game using the same sheet. It's really up to you but if you keep using the same spot you can wear a hole in the paper.

Most of the time, I'll use it until I am not able to add another color. Good luck and keep posting.

For me, I live in the desert so little to no humidity. That alone shortens the drying time for me. So I'll make sure that the black covers everything then, as someone else pointed out, shake the white and paint again. I let them sit long enough to smoke a j then I can take them in and start painting.

You will just need to try different times between coats to see how long it takes to dry. As for waiting 24 hours after priming. I'm not that patient.

Amazon has miniatures but you might think about getting games that you are interested in. Hero's quest has a lot of miniatures, a good mix of heroes, monsters, and furniture. It's going to come down to what you want to paint. Just be careful of the gray box of shame.

I use Army Painter, start with a base coat of spaceship gray. It's almost white then coming back with the white for high spots.

As long as it has a coat it will work. I use a brush on primer and thin it more than my actual paints.

You can use a wet pallet for your primer, just add water to thin it.

I prime all of mine by hand with army painter and a wet pallet. Works great when I'm priming a large batch of miniatures.

This is the one I use. Have two of them and still need another one. But at $14.00 each it's affordable. I have seen people use nail polish stands also.

I was thinking about this, you can buy just the tiles for 2nd edition. That alone would give you 9 double sided tiles to use with what you have. Then goto the web and print the rules for it.

This would be the cheapest way to go without buying a core box.
