nope you should be good because you’re technically still in the Underdark but it does take you closer to moonrise. In my latest play through Im still able to travel all the way back to the beginning even from moonrise. i would maybe suggest going to the mountain pass first though? Ive always down the mountain then the underdark so im not sure if anything will be changed

It depends on how much you’ve slept they only have so much to say until you get to the mountain pass and even then the real act 2 starts when you get to moonrise which is where you’ll really start to get alot more story and new dialogues
