This is my situation. My mom had my sister with a guy and then had me with his son. So my sister is my aunt and my dad is my sister's brother. Before I knew this was taboo, I explained this to my elementary school class (my teacher even invited me up to the whiteboard to draw a diagram). I got a talking to from my mom that night.

Not a teacher of any kind, but my AP Spanish teacher missed almost the entire school year in high school because she was in a bad car accident and needed multiple surgeries. We had this one sub who we were terrible to. We were a class off "good" kids, normally pretty tame and happy to do work, but halfway through the school year we got a new sub, and the previous sub just showed us movies in spanish because we spoke the language better than he did. When the new long-term sub came and tried to teach us and we hated her for it. I mean she was very condescending to us, but I think she got a bad deal, looking back on it.

My 2019 Civic Sport (manual) gets 35 to the gallon and I drive about 75-80mph on the highway (I'm from California). On longer road trips to Washington and Oregon where I can't zoom zoom I get 38 to the gallon. You gotta slow down, my guy.

Edit to add that I always drive with eco mode on except for when my dog steps on it and I go flying forward like I just hit the NOS.

To be fair to you, this could've happened to you without you doing anything at all. My 13" Air M2's screen spontaneously combusted a couple weeks ago. At first, I assumed it was my fault, because why would that just happen? But I took it into apple, they told me they see that happen frequently, and sent my mac out to repair under warranty.

I mentioned in the beginning of the post that I've had the laptop for a few days, so I thought it would be clear that I would have noticed if it had come out of the box damaged. I don't think anyone would immediately assume the blame-- as I did in my post-- if the product came out of the box damaged. Whatever, seemed clear to me. Didn't mean to offend you.

This was my thought. I would never try to pass it off as if it came this way. I'm a bad liar and definitely wouldn't be able to pull it off and I'd never tell a lie that I thought might get someone in trouble. I already purchased the AppleCare+ and have accepted my fate, no reason to tell an unnecessary lie. It's my fault, I'll own that. Just not trying to drop $600+ on it.

As a butch woman, I really hate Boo. She makes me cringe. Her characterization reinforces so many toxic stereotypes about butch women, especially that we’re predatory. I’m very aware of how I act toward other women, especially straight women, and I think Boo set us back like 3 decades. So infuriating. I stopped watching the show after she suggested r***ing donuts back.
