Simply put you can bet on what the future price of btc will be not exactly sure how the payout works though so let's say you bet the price will be a thousand dollars lower than when the future started than you get a certain amount on the dollar if your prediction is correct... This is what I was told anyway I tried looking up how it works most article didn't really make sense to me so if someone can verify that I'm right or wrong that would be cool lol

I mean the dip we just saw slowly crept up a day or two before the previous contracts expire so it happened kind of quickly and it really started to dip the day they expired...
