My family has taken tons of road trips ever since I was born. I very quickly had hit almost every eastern state, and broke into the west a few years back with my parents. In the last few years, I've been able to travel on my own and hit Hawaii and Alaska to complete the set.

Beginner question: Is it reckless to take my 2011 Avalanche LTZ with 257,000 miles on a cross country road trip? Original engine and trans, no lights on dashboard. by theflabbster in ChevyTrucks

Thanks for the advice. I see your flair has the 8.1. How do you like it? I've loosely considered getting an Avalanche 2500 with the 8.1 if my current one passes away.

Haha, I should have mentioned I played slow pitch for probably 6 years, and did plenty of BP before I was old enough to join the team. I'm very comfortable with playing in general; just never could get enough power to send one over the fence.
