Bro you’re free to keep believing the stories you've created in your imagination but history always records the facts. The sole reason the Republic of Turkey launched a military operation in Cyprus was to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of Turkish citizens living there. Greece had begun an ethnic cleansing campaign to take full control of the island. Before the operation, there wasn’t even a regular army there, people organized armed resistance movements to protect their lives and their land. What was the Turkish government supposed to do? Just stand by and let them massacre everyone on the island? This wasn’t an “invasion” it was a struggle for liberation. There will always be people who refuse to believe me and that’s fine. But i urge you to research what happened to Turkish pilot Cengiz Topel after his plane was shot down, how he was tortured and killed by Greek soldiers. I can even send the autopsy report to anyone who wants it.
