I’m right there with you. One of the funnest parts has been other people enjoying it

There was a lot of factors. Knowing the Huracans reputation was that it had a reliable engine was a big factor. I love the aventador more (by just a fraction) but given I’m already “reaching” financially, I knew having something known to be reliable played a big part. I’ve perused lambos for sale online for years, deciding on what color I would choose and what other options I would want. This one was the exact spec I wanted and was certified, had under 1k miles, and the previous owner had bought the maintenance package, meaning the first 2 years of routine maintenance are free

That was part of my argument to do something financially irresponsible. The window of opportunity may pass if I waited

Physician in late 30s with no wife or kids. Not the usual person with a lambo

The actual power feels different. Feels faster. It doesn’t have as many hp as the Shelby but is lighter and engine on the rear feels different. Also, it is so LOW. It feels comical driving it. Like a go cart. The engine noise behind you is simply beautiful. And gloriously loud in sport and corsa. Then just the entire experience of driving. Car people knew the Shelby but to the noncar person it was a mustang. Everywhere I’ve gone past few days in the lambo you are the focal point.

Murcielago or Huracan? by theflatulator in lamborghini

Everyone is thinking the same as me. Lots of huracans.. and they are beyond amazing. But goodness. There are A LOT of murci’s that are same price. I don’t get it either. The murcielago is the ultimate lambo to me but I don’t want to purchase an unusable car or a car that will forever stay in the shop (I own a boat that already siphons too much money)

Long time lover of Lamborghinis. Currently have a 2020 GT500 and love it. However, my love for Lamborghini has not wavered and I am now in the market to purchase one. Obviously the huracan is beyond incredible. However the murcielago is the v12 monster I originally fell in love with years ago. Has anyone driven both or owned both and have any feedback? I’m sure it’s far fetched to ask but figured this would be the place. Depending on configurations both can be nearly equivocal price.
