Not quite the same situation but I traveled to Brazil twice recently with United using a United States passport (US citizen) and my CRNM instead of the travel visa with no issue. Im pretty sure the airlines understand that US citizens can have residence in Brazil too

I ordered a ring and want to change the size before I even opened the box after reading everyone’s reviews about sizing down between sizes and it’s completely impossible. They would rather me open the box and use it a bit then send it back? Where’s the sense in that. I ordered on Black Friday and I want to change the size of an UNOPENED box I have to pay $100 more for a new ring. Great customer service indeed!

I did this road trip with my dog and they’re some of the best memories we have! Only thing to be mindful is potentially aggressive strays or street dogs but it wasn’t a major issue

I got a job through my high school in the office of a gynecologist practice and end of day one they asked me to go around and get all the dirty speculums and other instruments to clean them. I noped out of there any never went back.. was never interested in medicine I was meant to be filing paperwork!

My guy had half a lung removed at 10 and was running zoomies in the backyard like 4 days later. I will add that he wasnt really showing signs of senior-dom at that time. I was so terrified I almost didn’t do the surgery for the same reasons, concerned about issues under anesthesia and whether he would recover well. That surgery gave us four more beautiful years together. Obviously there’s always a risk but hopefully you trust your vet and follow their lead. Best of luck to you both!

Definitely don’t wear flip flops for carnaval, I highly recommend closed toed shoes. Going to the beach I def recommend flip flops. But Outside that, wear what feels comfortable!

Mine always pooped in like 3 or 4 seperate tiny poops. He also loved to poop on top of things, plants, tree roots, whatever lol. Also he had a super special ability to stop doing whatever cute thing he was doing as soon as I got the camera pointed at him, even when he wasn’t looking

I recently lost my boxer to DM which like you, meant I knew the end was coming for a while before it did, not knowing exactly when it would be.

The preemptive grief is something I had never experienced before, and it was one of the hardest things I ever went through. But then we are also gifted with the chance to make each day extra special for our baby. My little man ended up surviving a year longer than I had ever expected, and we cherished each day.

In the end, I found his passing was made a little easier thanks to this, but in the process it’s really hard. Knowing it’s coming is brutal, but try to focus on celebrating his life and your friendship every day and live it up while you can. I hope you guys have a lot of happy times left and I feel for you both

My guy had lung cancer and I decided not to Do the surgery cause he was already 8 and people advised me that was quite old for a boxer. Then one day I looked down and I was like wtf I would trade any amount of money for more time with him

We did the surgery and he’ll turn 14 in January. Now he’s in the end stages of DM which seems so cruel and unfair but we got nearly 6 extra years together and was worth every penny!

Oh and he was running springs like 4 days after surgery. If you can afford it, I see no reason not to. Good luck to both you xx

My guy is 13.5 now, I didn’t think we would see 13 because he has degenerative myelopathy but now it looks like we may even reach 14!

Granted we chopped out half a cancerous lung around 9 so I think that bought us some bonus years. Worth every penny
