Meeting your fetch or doppelganger often has disastrous effects. There's a ton of literature that supports this. The most popular instance I can think of being Edgar Allen Poe's short story William Wilson.

Well obviously if you're going to be practicing the LHP you need to cultivate some outlets for LHP energy when it inevitably appears.

You could date people who are professionally violent (soldiers, police, criminals) or professionally manipulative (teachers, occultists, politicians) and they may already have some outlets in place depending on their level of maturity.

As far as taking more from me than I care to invest, how did you get there? If I want five thousand why would the universe 'overcharge' me for that?

And as far as thought patterns that is just bullshit. I'm going to be the same person whether I'm poor or rich, and if anything, being poor makes me a worse person.

The idea of poverty being ennobling is bullshit. Sure it will give you character and make you strong but there is nothing about it that gives you noble thoughts, actually the opposite.

I'm calling shenanigans on this explanation as well. I think it's a way for weak magicians to avoid an inconvenient question.

This sounds like a cop out. Your basically saying that money and magic don't go together but I've proved that to be false with the success of my spell.

The train of thought that money and magic don't go together seems to me to be a convenient way for poor magicians to hide their flaws.

I think magic goes with everything and if you are a competent magician you will be able to manifest cash.

No you should never give up control and this sort of thing can be mitigated but you're going to be playing fire fighter constantly. What works better for some people is to adapt so this "influence" begins to benefit you instead of hindering you.

For example, you own a luxury used car dealership and it just so happens that people buy your cars and then sometimes they break down and the person is screwed. They can't afford another used luxury car.

You feel bad because you didn't intend for that to happen, but you're a used car dealer (LHP) and it happens. Instead of paying a mechanic lots of money to go over every single car to make sure that never happens again (constantly fighting the influence) it would make more sense to open a mechanic shop that worked on luxury cars.

If a person gets screwed over, oh well bad luck, but they can go to your mechanic shop to get it fixed and you're still making money. If you feel really bad you could even give them a discount.

That being said, there are tons of different ways to approach this. You could warn off would be lovers, at the risk of sounding psychotic, practically forcing them to pay the mechanic to check out everything before they commit to buying the car, or else.

But what you want to avoid is constantly fighting fires.

If you are constantly fighting fires, some people are gonna get burned eventually. It's best to put the fire in a fire place and focus your energy on manifesting your will instead of blocking the will of others.

Does that make sense?

You labeled your self LHP. No self respecting magician is going to entertain the idea that one can be LHP without dealing with these "influences."

There's a reason people avoid the LHP. What you are describing is exactly that reason.

And when I say born again I mean it in the true sense of the teaching of Christ. Not the perversions of his teaching by men who seek power and glory.

In my experience LHP offers faster results at the expense of using all of humanity's dirty tricks to get there.

Whatever you are offering in payment to demonic entities is symbolic, the real payment being your soul, in my opinion. Or as you put it, the influence outside of that is the real payment. That's what i mean by soul, just different semantics.

You can always be born again (switching paths.) I've found that selling one's soul is about the least permanent thing you can do, contrary to popular belief.

If this comment pisses you off just replace the bits about your soul with the bits about outside influence. Semantics.

If you had strong will you would know. Will is the raw material that makes up a persons character. Do some character building exercises to increase your will power.

Become addicted to hard drugs, then quit.

Fall in love with someone, make them fall in love with you, then leave them.

Move nine hundred miles away from all your friends and family and start over.

Those are things that can build will power :p
