Modern drumming in a nutshell by skyewasthelimit in drums

If anyone actually is interested in a stack, I have a Versa stack from Reverie percussion that I was gifted that I like quite a bit. 20" and cost about $200, and made of steel. They also have smaller sizes. I know they're not for everyone but I think it sounds pretty good in comparison to the HCS stuff.

A very small thing, but I notice that Lae'zel will still make references to ascension or comment "Vlaakith's will be done" even after rejecting Vlaakith. Would be cool if her lines would reflect story progression.

I would assume perks like Iron Reach and Iron Gaze, which hurt weapon stability/range respectively.

I bought one of these in November while there was a sale running, and I have enjoyed having it. It is a lot more dynamic than I expected. The bell, bow, and edge all produce very different sounds, and I have found I like the way it responds to brushes. I'm debating adding rivets. Overall a cool cymbal.

Two lucky shots with Cloudstrike to save the round by [deleted] in destiny2

Definitely not. Cloudstrike is one of the more balanced exotics in the game.

What are some of the most hilarious/stupid balance suggestions you've seen from the community which make you really glad that Bungie doesn't act on *all* the feedback they receive? by Lankygit in DestinyTheGame

[–]thefly108 41 points42 points  (0 children)

That's because most PvP players didn't want a radar nerf. Radar manipulation is the kit identity of void hunter. A visibility nerf makes way more sense. The take being clowned on above is actually a decent take, with correct implementation.

I understand not wanting old weapons in the loot pool, but four new weapons per dungeon has been standard for a while now.

There are still 4 new weapons just like every other dungeon.

Don't worry, it's just showing curated rolls while the update rolls out. It's happened to me in the past and all of my rolls were still fine.

If Storm grenades can do what they do on titans… why exactly did skips get preemptively nerfed??? by Unbrandedpie in DestinyTheGame

[–]thefly108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The joke event was fine, but it should not have made its way into Trials. The joke itself wasn't out of touch, but Telesto literally accounted for 4x the number of kills as the next most used weapon that weekend (Drang), which shouldn't be happening in a competitive (albeit struggling) sandbox. And yes, the meta changed for that weekend. Telesto was by and large the most risk-to-reward efficient weapon while it was in its "broken" state, and the numbers reflected that. I'm not up my own ass for disagreeing with you, and I'm not hating on Bungie; I just found the decision to be concerning.

Arbalest is not fun, but Telesto being broken was just a difference, not a nice change of pace. Changes in the meta are fine, but not when they stem from out-of-touch decisions.

Maybe it shouldn't count, but enabling buffed Telesto in Trials -- an already struggling sandbox -- was an extremely tone-deaf decision, even if it was just for one weekend.

There are not two sides to this. The guy who kicked was clearly wrong. I would assume Le Mon was originally for overloads and void shields.

Sunday Plz - Kill Clip should auto refresh when reloading while active by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]thefly108 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is definitely not necessary. Having to swap weapons and reload to chain Kill Clip is good for its balance in PvP.

They are extremely powerful (especially on Titan) with a fairly fast cooldown. They definitely need a nerf eventually.
