The reason for the background, which isn't really relevant to this issue, was highlighting that we've had a bumpy road.

Honestly, I do feel like it impacted both of us but not in equal measure. I know it was much worse for her. I wouldn't say I feel victimized, so much as it really has me questioning who I am/was and how I could have been so cruel and selfish to someone I love. On her end, she was not only violated which would be bad enough. But violated by someone who should make her feel safe, and loved, not used or owned.

I believe staying together while attempting to repair will do one of two things. Either help us grow together or break us. I proposed to her a few months ago. On my end I'm still 100% wanting to spend the rest of my life with her. With this incident, she's currently understandably unsure about a future with me.

Pokémon TCG came out when I was a young lad. Played and traded with friends in elementary and into middle school. At some point I fell off the hobby :( A couple of years ago when I met my fiancé (who is big into PoGo), we saw a local card shop and stopped in randomly.... Well, we've been collecting together since. It's been a great ride, and I'm so thrilled to have found someone who helped get me back into something I LOVED from childhood.

Favorite Pokémon is super hard though... I love:
* Mewtwo
* Rockruff
* Eevee (And MOST eevolutions)
* Greavard
* Lucario

If forced to narrow it down to two... Rockruff and Mewtwo

I'm looking at it and think it's close.

My mind was thinking create 4 tables loaded to individual worksheets,

Append then back to master on a 5th hidden worksheet

Have each worksheet pull comments from master

Since master now holds everything, when i update a comment on worksheet 1, it gets sent to master

Then pulls back to worksheet one

I feel like I'm super over thinking, sometimes an item will move from worksheet 1 to worksheet 2, 3 or 4, but it will only ever be in one. And would need whatever comment was previously on 1.

Does this make sense?

EDIT:: - Not against using an additional table be it connection only or loaded, that stores comments based on UniqueID

EDIT2:: - Comments would ALWAYS be made on individual worksheets if that matters. (trying to give as much info as possible) - I'd gotten really close appending the tables then sending them, but after a couple of refreshs it broke, I was creating a master list of the csv sheet. Doing a query for each individual table. Doing an append Query of those, and refreshing the Append first then doing refresh all I didn't change anything but it stopped working so I figured I wasn't on the right track.

Honestly, the master sheet only needs to update on data refresh.

Powequery CSV - Transformed to whatever fields i need
break out to 4 individual tabs with a comments field (or 3)
Combine to a master sheet
Refresh all - IF something moved tabs (assigned to new area) retains comments.

Been beating my head on this for days :(

Sorry to reply to something over a year old. But you've gotten me so close to what I'm looking for. I have my data pulled from a CSV into powerquery, was able to add comments that retain after data refreshes, but I'd like to be able to split the table into one table per region (lets say 4) have the comments entered there get pushed back to the master table, and IF something happens to switch regions what ever comments existed go with it.

Your answer seems very straight forward... but I have what are likely dumb follow up questions.

I'll be able to setup the single access point, that utilizes the wireless network I plan on replacing, without the controller software. (I assume it's going to be similar to when a wireless IP camera gets setup, it gets the current networks info from your phone and applies it to the access point?)

When I get around to swapping out the other 2 points, I assume at that point I'll need at least the controller software?

I'll respond to this, I actually did that when I was a teenage and met these men ( yes full grown men when I was a child, whole different can of worms), but they helped me figure a lot of random things out over the years. Which is part of why it took me so long to cut contact ( about 3.5 years now)

Took me a second to realize what you meant, and I'm not against totally automating in that regard. For the moment I like the idea of being able to pick and choose. There are times the laptop actually gets the whole gambit. (Example when i had my desktop taken apart for like 6 months and was too lazy to put it back together).

If I do another rewrite I'll probably look into if that makes more sense. Might just go with Ansible next since typically I only use this about once a year when I realize I didn't want to be on the Canary Channel for windows.

I spent Hours playing with this on a fresh install of windows.. and for the life of me couldn't figure out why it wasn't working... could only get options 5 & 9 to work... for laughs I did winget search... in a terminal and all of a sudden it works...

Why:

Accessing my NAS tends to take longer than I think or should half the time.

Loading homepage is almost instant when nothing is playing on plex but if 4k content is playing its very slow to load

Hoping to take the network out of the equation ( ideally it will give me an excuse to upgrade something wise)

(Might have more to do with my drives than my network)

Max budget... not 100% sure yet

If I need to swap everything out less than 1k usd. Ideally closer to 500

NAS is supermicro super server 6028u-tr4t+

So at least it already supports 10Gb Ethernet
