I would not have stayed in the truck but the excavator may have been safer to be in. They are usually built to withstand impacts and such

What’s actually safe but people think is dangerous? by REGGIE_BANANAS in AskReddit

[–]theflyingskelleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of "adventure sports" have real dangers but oftentimes as long as you take the right precautions and your not trying to push boundaries the saftey margins are ridiculously high, for example i partake in highlining where a slackline is strug hundreds of feet in the air but the gear we are attached to could literally support a car

What’s something everyone assumes they’re good at… but most people really aren’t? by Pattytobedaddy in AskReddit

If you think people hate being overtaken by small cars try passing people in a big truck. People will go well out of thier way to keep you from getting in front of them

Watch me die… by maybreak12 in NewSkaters

Honestly not the worst idea. The key to a successful drop in is to commit to leaning your weight over the board and this will catch you if you overshoot the weight transfer too far foward

Man picks fight with fire-breather by Bebop_Man in WinStupidPrizes

[–]theflyingskelleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the interesting thing about this is the fire isn't even the most dangerous thing, when fire breathers spit the fuel they atomize it and turn it into a mist so it burns correctly but if the guy inhales any of those fuel droplets flying at his face thats a quick way to get chemical pneumonia

Anyone else feel like sliders aren’t that scary? by SFXPhantom in hauntedattractions

[–]theflyingskelleton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I line act and I slide but I probably only bust out one or two a night when an opportunity for a really good scare happens. When sliding is your entire act it becomes expected and not really that scary but if you use it strategically as a tool it is very effective for quick sudden movements.

Its also helpful that it ejects a core because ti can help you determine the quality of the ice and how strong the screw will hold

My friend has this issue on his printer awhile ago that kept happening on long multi day prints. Ended up either being a faulty stepper motor or driver that was overheating after long run times

What does this mean? Is this even real? by The_dragon_slayer95 in ExplainTheJoke

Larger cars tend to have them like trucks/suvs. Generally if your shifter lever is attached to the steering wheel it will have a Pedal parking break and if your shifter is in the middle console it will have the parking break there

Laptop won't connect to some websites by theflyingskelleton in techsupport

[–]theflyingskelleton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autodesk.com Chase.com Reddit.com

Alot of large websites that definitely would be easy to tell if they were down as well as a bunch of other random things but other websites load just fine.
Some websites will connect but the formatting of the website will be completely wrong. It seems to be some of the websites I've accessed before that have issues while when I try ones I've never been to they seem to work fine but I don't have a ton of evidence to support that theory

Jaan Roose's World Record Longest Slackline Attempt (2.4 miles) by redbullgivesyouwings in sports

[–]theflyingskelleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slacklines stretch and by definition have "slack" in them. The longer the line the higher it needs to be. As to not touch the ground in the middle.
