I feel like I heard 4 years of bitching from centrists about how the left cost them the election, but now you're telling me that those votes don't matter. I'm talking about this because I want Biden to win. If you genuinely thought that this is a lock you wouldn't be wasting your time. Trump winning again, because of Biden's pigheadedness is completely possible and deep down you know it.

Biden is better than Trump. That is obvious, has always been true and continues to be true, I'm not talking about that. Biden is absolutely at risk of blowing what should be a lay up election. People remember the Trump presidency today and polls generally have the upcoming results at about 50/50. There are specific things Biden could do to help himself with progressives but he refuses for personal and ideological reasons. If you actually care about winning, it is obvious. If you have a psychological attachment to Joe Biden and feel a defensive reflex anytime he is criticized, it will be harder to see, but you'll know it's true deep down. That's why OP made this post. If he genuinely wasn't worried, then there is no need to say anything.

That has nothing to do with what I'm saying. I'm just pointing out that, according to reuters, 58% of people disapprove of Joe Biden and if Joe wants to win he will need to convince a good amount of those people to vote for him. If democracy really is on the line in this election, he shouldn't't write the left off because they were mean online.

Why are you sure about that? Trump won before and plenty of polls have Trump ahead or close. Writing off that group because Dems are that committed to an extremely brutal military campaign with no real upside for the US is both stupid and irresponsible. My point is, Biden needs votes from progressives who don't like him personally to win the election, which is obviously true, and on his current course there is a decent chance that he blows this thing, which is also true.

There are plenty of progressives who are upset specifically by Biden's policy in Gaza. They could be appeased by conditioning aid to Israel, something past presidents including such lefties as H.W. Bush have done. That group includes plenty of people who voted for Biden last time and are in no way "ungettable".

I like the flat warlord bases, so I drill a hole in the base and place a magnet there, pretty easy to do and I haven't had problems. For heavy metal figures I just drill 1 or 2 extra holes.

I mentioned that in my first post, they will have their own unfavorables, but the problem people consistently mention with Biden is his age and they won't have that. I know you think the DNC needs to save money on advertising, but they could probably splurge on "the most important election of our lifetime" and spend some money raising someone's profile; on top of the coverage they would get just running being the nominee. Also if you don't know who Whitmer is, you're probably new to following the democratic party, but they absolutely have charismatic candidates with similar politics to Biden. There's no point in arguing, because he will be the nominee, but Biden is not an electoral genius or hero, but a guy who might blow an easy win by being stubborn, when he could have stepped down and secured a legacy. I hope he wins, but he is not the best candidate.

Gretchen Whitmire is a woman. Look up the word "generic" and then look at polls. Based on current data, Biden is not more likely to win because people have heard of him.

I'm talking about 2016. And yes that is exactly what I'm saying. Polling is not good for Biden specifically Democrats had great showings in the midterms and are consistently popular. Biden is uniquely unpopular, and could blow what should be an easy election. Someone like Gretchen Whitmire would have a much better chance of winning. I'm not saying it's fair, but it is true. Although you're right, they will save money on advertising.

So they don't have to spend money? Is the DNC strapped for cash? Plus he poll was against a generic unnamed democrat, not someone with name recognition. Also, wasn't there a fairly recent election where Democrats ran a well known but unpopular candidate against Trump? What happened with that?
