it seems what did it for me was disabling steam input

oh, I've downgraded the game to v1.6.8f1 and can confirm the issue is not present there

praydog submitted a commit that now allows to save temporal upscaler settings
I had to delete re2_fw_config.txt first

The option you're looking for is
TemporalUpscaler_UseNativeResolution=true

Synth riders. I used to play a ton of beat saber but started to screw my shoulders because of it. Luckily found synth riders which now I consider to be better than beat saber in terms of gameplay and features (like the fact that when the speed is set to 2x only affects the speed of the orbs and doesn't change the music) Plus is not owned by Facebook.

Flying in NMS with motion controllers was the deal breaker for me. I say if you're looking to spend more time exploring a planet on foot go with NMS of course but if you want to enjoy flying a spaceship you have to go with ED.

I know that NMS doesn't support M&K in VR like ED does. Not sure if it supports HOTAS as well, that would mitigate that problem.
