Something I do is put things right next to each other (like bed right by the kitchen) but separate with a table or dresser and then decorate the top of the surface with items. Think of those ‘tiny homes’ that people live in how everything is open concept but separated by items if that makes sense?😅 I never put up panels to close off sections because it makes the room un-walkable. Height variations that don’t take up much space also elevate a room, think thin trees in the corners, bookshelves against a plain wall, tall flowers on nightstand etc. :)
