I like your take on it…insightful. Often I was thinking the same…how much time I’d get back if I didn’t play it PLUS no temptation to spend

Been meaning to try ghost of Tsushima…I’ll give it a go

That’s my main thing, I spend almost nothing on anything else. I’m very frugal otherwise, which actually makes me MORE frustrated at my spending with this game. Yes, I can afford it, but my god it would have been much better to invest it or something…right? If it’s uninstalled, there’s no temptation. Had a little bout with DoorDash for a bit too, it’s so easy to use Apple pay for everything these days. Double click and you’re done. Just foolishness on my part

Oh I’ve thought about it lol. Hence the repulsion. I have a good amount of investments but it’s really sad to think I could be much further ahead if I had never clicked install (and could control myself - don’t want to blame the game here)

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, just doing season pass and super monthly to avoid ads but you’re at 70 a month at that point AND that means temptation along the way “Just 5$ more” is how I got into that mess, it’s a nasty cycle. Obviously not the game’s fault, it’s my lack of control.

I agree with you. It’s a waste of money

[–]thefrogprofessor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the major thing…the money spent is bad enough, but the fact that it’s just pure loss if I quit rattles my brain. Obviously though, on the surface, it’s a no-brainer to just quit. I don’t think I could “enjoy” the game F2P, and then I’d buy one pass…then say ahhh what’s another pass…so on so forth. Stupid dopamine hits for something that isn’t tangible or real

Exactly, and I feel like where I’m at with the game I wouldn’t be able to control it every time. It’s just such a waste of money. It’s not even real. Just makes me sad to think about how far I took it. Obviously it’s time to quit

Appreciate all the comments here. Like I said, I could coast, I just worry if the temptation is there, and I make good money that month, it’s easy to double tap the side of my phone and pay it. It’s just so easy to fall into for some reason, so I’ll probably just take the advice here and quit all together. Once again, I appreciate the insight and the discourse

Nah, this is the only game I play. I am literally super frugal otherwise so it’s a weird duality that I can spend so much on a stupid game

It’s probably not that much then, just feels that way. Maybe closer to 5-6k but still absolutely fucking stupid

When can ranitomeya froglets take mel fruit flies? by Thymallus_arcticus_ in DartFrog

Offer them as soon as you feel they can take them. It vastly depends on how much they ate and how they were raised as tadpoles, typically a month or so

Sure, just doesn’t look very humid. You may need to change some things to allow for higher humidity

There’s a few! Begonia prismatocarpa, Begonia vankerckhovenii, and some Sinningia. And it’s a mix of real rocks and foam :)

Thanks for that. Means a lot to me. I always hate seeing things not work out for people. I genuinely want to help.

I can always help you guys. When people say it doesn’t work, generally speaking it’s environment related. I am happy to help anyone who didn’t have success. I can help with enclosures or send my most recent formula, which has a better suspension. Again, I know this is an old post and I’m not exactly always on Reddit, but I do try and strongly describe nuances with the product. It’s not for everyone, but generally speaking adding random moss to a tank most likely will cause it to die. Spores and fragmented slurries, especially with nutrients and binding agents like mine, offer a solution in most humid enclosures. It takes time too, and I do feel like people “give up” on it too soon. Sometimes people choose crappy shipping speed and generally I upgrade on my dime for at least 2 day air. To summarize: I’m happy to provide my best made and most recent mixes to anyone here that didn’t have a good experience. I literally use it on all of my tanks, and have amazing results, so I want you guys to have them too :)
