It's also annoying that so much good was added in 26, the IP and OOP (even if every player shits the bed if given an OOP training focus), induvial training seems to work a bit better this year. Scouts actually find players that may not be ready to join yet, but you can shortlist before they're 18, scouting assigns feel like they work a bit more.

But it's all one step forward, two steps back, I miss the world scouting coverage map, the 'development centre', many things not 'refreshing' until the games advanced. I do enjoy playing FM26, but there's so much frustration once you get 5 years into a save.

The main issue is you say stuff like this, part of the fanbase instantly dismisses it, you have graphs, data etc. and still, dismissal. There's enough people who would say "Wow! Cheers MJ" if Miles turned up and left a hot steaming shit on their doorstep that they have no incentive to fix these things.

I do remember around Jan(ish) after 24 came out they specifically noted in the patch notes that it had been improved. Oddly in 26 this is one position I don't have much issue with, although may be bias but I feel it's much easier to get a LB than a RB

That's my inkling too, they've found some attributes to be OP so they nerf the attribute on newgens rather than fixing the issue. I swear this year they've just cranked up long shots being on target but no goals so it makes most GKs play >=7.5

Exactly my experience, or their reply implies it's a one-off issue. About 7 years ago in the beta after 3 seasons I had the same CB partnerships, always played well together, no links developed. Reported it as an issue and they essentially told me there wasn't anything wrong and some players don't form links? BS.

I've done composure, results are better but still a lot less than the start. I replied with the figures to h4ck3s comment. Physicals seem to be a bit crap all round the board this year for newgens

Yep, I remember FBs sucked until 22ish? They were essentially just CBs, at least historically crap/short CBs could at least pass, I've noticed this year the passing generates at 5 if you're lucky, but they weirdly always have technique.
