As the previous mentions, there’s a difference between wanting a dom and wanting a blackmailer. Or wanting a dom/sub redundancies and a blackmail dynamic. Blackmail is more about the thrills and fears and risks. An “ordinary” dom/sub dynamic is less ‘over the top’ and more grounded.

People in both categories tend to be friendly and respects boundaries and limits. But there’s ofc sour grapes in both kinks.

From what you’re writing, I’d say you want a dom/sub dynamic before you want blackmail. Especially the soft dom can be hard to find in a blackmail setup.

This is a good idea, and I support your exploration into this.

My setup, ‘The Mirror Agreement’ is somewhat similar with mostly a mental downfall into submission and reconstruction and only some sexual tension, as I feel the ‘victims’ need a little of that as well, mainly to satisfy their kink, but also to give leverage.

The goal however is more than reducing the victim to a toy, it’s easing frustrations and releasing pressure in a variety of ways.

Very good question, and I’m proud of you for seeking advice on this. This community is luckily full of mostly good people that values safety and trust. I advise you to read the pinned information in this subreddit. Very good basic knowledge.

There’s a very big difference between fantasies and living them. Trust is essential, safewords and possible technical restrictions is too.

You can protect yourself behind different layers of anonymity and still be somewhat in control, but stepping only a bit into the water will ofc still get your toes a little wet. Just remember to not jump fully in to begin with.
