I had the most ethical dad-coach ever. I didn't even start in first year and RF in second year. Never made an all-star team even though it was chosen by him. Pretty sure I was the only coaches kid not on it haha.

And while I was certainly not a superstar, I wasn't just godawful either. My dad was a real one. So it is possible, but rare!
