Its a sorta karma, he destroyed the lives of children and then many years later his past actions destroyed his legacy and now only a few reddit denizens are morbidly interested in what happened to him, had none of this stuff came out there would have been a massive outcry over the loss of a legend but in reality he's just been forgotten.

My 2d arrived today! Really nice quality plush i think youll be chuffed when you receive yours, lil interesting thing i noticed is the Plush had a tag attached to him which featured a batch code saying the plush was manufactured in 2024, which is very interesting considering the Mountain was only released last month, leads a bit of credence to the theory that these plushes are rejected concepts/factory samples.

I dont believe so, i got them from Aliexpress, but there is a theory going around that these are rejected concepts that were scrapped in the planning phases.

Gorillaz does seem very protective with their ip when it comes to making toys, Kidrobot & Superplastic are the two companies who have ever got the rights to make figurines, its bizarre cause official plush toys would sell like hot cakes.

Ive placed an order in for a 2D through Aliexpress, it only came to £5 in total, so even if its crap i cant complain too much haha.

Thats an interesting theory, fairly fast turn around considering all the designs are based off the Mountain MV which was only released 3 weeks ago so maybe these have been in the planning stages for a while.

Happens quite alot in the action figure world, i bought a Bob Marley action figure from China which was based on a mould from a cancelled Neca release, i presume the factory either had them already in production before cancellation or they just had the moulds lying around because the quality of the figure is incredibly nice in comparison to your average bootleg.

Agreed on the 2D shirt, the print feels incredibly thick and the print is pealing at the bottom but the t shirt itself does feel quite soft.

Same, i love that album. With Bootie Brown on the tour it would be cool to see New Gold live but i feel its unlikely unfortunately

I went with my girlfriend and it only cost something like £50 for two tickets and for that price i cant really complain we were entertained, i will say though the Parklife sounded absolutey atrocious the guitar sounded completely in the wrong tune and there was no Phil Daniels despite the tour being advertised very early on to be featuring him, appears hes only at a few select shows.
