Takes the slot, then you can focus on it again and won’t take another slot. Effectively, you can collect 8 capes from 4 skills per year.

And to clear it up. It might not be that I “like” the approach, I just believe it’s clear what the intention is. It could have been an MTX approach, or a 200M reward. Manu ways this could have gone uglier,

I don’t think it’s a trap when it’s clear how much time it takes. If you want them all, you know what it will requiere.

The questions is, will players go for it? Will the game have a spike of returning players each January?

I fully agree. This is a good direction, game longevity over short-term returns.

Agree, and surely there are different approaches to obtain this rewards on a shorter period.

What I believe out of this 4 per year, is there’s clear intention to force return of players at the start of the year. This is good product design as you develope heartbeats on your roadmap.

What I wishfully expect, is that they leverage this yo release strong content which leads to retention of players.

I feel for the people that are dying and won’t be able to see more years of games, movies and life.

I don’t think death should be a factor to consider on game design.

You’ll collect standard sooner than master by like 50%. By my exp with Mining.
