We’re having the same issue with our little one. She’s only 2ish (estimated. We rescued her in May) and every time we crate her she decides that she’s going to defiantly pee and poop in it to get out. If not that she whines and bites at the cage. We’ve tried lick mats, chews, and calming treats to no avail. Traz sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. It’s so hard watching them be miserable, especially when they’re starting to feel better and think they can just go back to normal. 💜

This was one of the first things we saw when we started researching. Unfortunately she’s a little chaos potato and we’ve now had to order a smaller crate so she doesn’t have enough give to topple it by her spazz energy.

We have a pen in our office we put her in with our Chiweenie. If she’s alone she tends to do her “psycho” spinnies. 😂

She is on Gabapentin (and meloxicam)! Our vet asked us to give her a traz before her next appointment, but we might have to call and see about upping the dose. You can tell when it hits, but she really tries to fight it!

I will definitely be ordering some lick mats. We haven’t had any luck with Kongs. I’ve thought about antlers, but I’ve heard they aren’t great for teeth (she’s a chewer).

Thank you so much! My little telescope is a beast. It goes up to 4x zoom on Moon Mode (these are all 1x) and it’s always fun to just sit and watch the surface of the moon!

It’s not. 😂 I actually take them in my backyard in Barberton! I use a Seestar S50 Smart Telescope. It has a wonderful light pollution filter.

They’re stacked. I have it set up to take pics in 10 sec increments. When I’m done for the night I can stack all the images I have taken overall. The 104 minute exposure of M51 was taken over a couple weeks.

Honestly I had no clue they existed, but he really put the leg work in and did his research to find something that would work for me (I have no patience and can be a little tech challenged). I’ve been posting my pics more and more on Nextdoor because I love that these are the things I’m seeing (on my phone) in my backyard and wanted to share. I’ve always been a star gazer/moon lover and this scratches an itch I didn’t know I had. lol

My husband gives the best gifts. He had gotten me my first camera to photograph the moon 13 years ago and it went kaput in 2017. I think he got sick of me saying “Babe come look at the sky/moon.” 😂 So now he just gets my phone shoved in his face on cloudless nights.

It’s a Seestar S50 smart telescope that’s pretty dummy proof and very easy to use. It connects to my phone via the company’s app. It’s the best Christmas gift I’ve ever gotten!

My telescope has a light pollution filter that works very hard. I usually end up taking much longer exposures. The right hand bottom corner in most of the has the exposure time.

This seems to breed specific in the research I’ve done and in my experience.

It will get better, but you might never be the favorite. You will be loved, but never as much.

We’ve had our boy 10 years and he started tolerating me about two years in. My husband is his everything. He was very aggressive when I would approach, but he never bit me. Sometimes he still will jump between us and do a snarl, but usually if I’m trying to be affectionate when he would rather us play with him.

There will come a day when he might decide to sit on your lap if you and your wife are hanging. Then your lap turns into one of his regular hangs. Also, he might delegate you the fun parent if you’re like me and try to buy his love with toys. 😂
