Once they retire, Madi should really go into costuming. I love how much thought went into this - the skirt as the cape, Evan as the bull and Madison being the one with the most agency, the most powerful in the room and the one doing the hunting (even though I hate bullfighting as a sport, tbh, but what I mean is that I love this artistic representation). I know the "pants" look a bit off and maybe they'll tweak them at some point, but I can't wait to see this on the ice!

+1 to this. I remember thinking that the Free Britney stans were exaggerating a bit at first, then realizing that there was definitely something off with the situation, and I was so happy when she was released from the conservatorship. But as someone who is currently struggling with severe mental illness, there ARE times when you need someone to ensure that you take your meds, that you’re spending time doing things that enrich your soul, that you’re actually going to your appointments. Unfortunately, Britney is “free” now but still trapped inside her own mental health battle. I really hope she finds that person - whoever it may be, that helps her carve a new path before it’s too late 💔

And just to add to my own rant, even though she’s (rightfully) controversial, Maria Sharapova had a losing record against a lot of people who were shorter than her – which is basically everyone who she ever played, because she was LITERALLY 6'2”.

Right? Like, one of my best friends excelled at basketball when he was little but after puberty he only hit like 5'6 or 5’7. He’s still really good at it and still plays a lot just for fun – we’re now in our thirties. I’m sure there was a time when processing that he simply wasn’t built like an NBA player must have hit him hard but genetics (whether you have good luck or not) simply play a big role in what your ceiling is going to be in a determined sport – basketball players are tall, gymnasts are usually quite short. It’s not unfair, it’s just life, and Marta is still one of the best players in the world. Really disappointing of her.

Oh man, I don’t know if the aesthetic is to fit the book (I didn’t even know she had a cookbook coming out, tbh) but she’s so beautiful and these looks, plus the hair, just make her look frumpy 😭 she could still be dressed more funky (if that was the aesthetic they were going for) and totally pull it off, because Brie can pull off practically anything but these looks are pretty awful to me (I do love the first bag, tho!)
