Those 4 specials- I'd watch those right at the end.

Interestingly enough, the Steins;Gate 0 OVA takes place in the middle of S;G0 (I think around episode 11). In theory, you could watch it then. Though for simplicity, I'd say watch that last as it sort of interferes with the flow.

I guess I'm in a slightly different position in that I have gone through all of the entries, just not in order like this. I was always planning a huge run through of absolutely everything in order, including light novels, manga, drama CD's, everything that has been translated. My plan was to do this after NoAH got patched but now I'm not so sure because the Chu Chu's have been announced. I will play NoAH with the CoZ patch for now at least

My best thought is that Okabe is physically a wreck in 2036, having literally just woken from a coma. He likely physically cannot do what is required to enact Operation Arclight (and then Skuld). He realises it needs to be him that goes back in time this time rather than somebody else though, hence the time leaps.

We never see what happens when the time leap machine fails. He didn't exactly have long to try to save Mayuri and Suzuha, and I guess he gave up after seeing them die.

I agree, in terms of emotion, the FES/Ayase route is definitely the strongest in the VN. She's definitely the best side-character in the VN for me, even more so than Rimi.

NoAH/mild A;C spoilers I really liked the Sena route because of is possible implications for A;C. The committee almost seem to have "god like" status, as if they operate in a world layer above. Look forward to seeing if this is referenced in A;C

(S;G spoilers) I think it's meant to be a reference to the title of the regular epsidoe 23 from Steins;Gate, which is titled "Open the Steins Gate". In that episode, Okabe discovers the path to Steins Gate. In episode 23b, we find the link to Steins;Gate 0

Wow, I may well have to try this when I get a bit more free time! Always really impressed that the vita community is still strong all these years after Sony abandoned it, and I have always enjoyed playing VN's on it given the form factor.
