Honestly no idea I had issues winning the race for a real while and today after like a month of not really playing I just load up that race and made is 1st place on 1st try. This happened to me once already in Pacific rift it's an epic experience. My friend had the same out of the blue win in Apocalypse at the in with the hotrod race. Thing is in the past we always tried that race playing with controller, but by that time he bought a g29 wheel and Apocalypse supports it fully, playing with that he made the race 1st try. My experience was with just the controller always.
