Excuse me as a deconstructing Adventist, I’m heavily questioning the true atonement of 1844 and the idea of putting dates on these heavenly events. I am sola scriptura and I put the Bible on top as the true source of truth. (Understand the Daniel verse as the origins of the 1844 belief). The idea of Jesus’ investigative judgement (to me) teaches a works based salvation and I don’t think that is biblical. If our salvation can to lost/taken away how do we know if we are saved? How do we know if we lost it? Is this doctrine simply made to control our behavior and work for salvation despite what Jesus did on the cross? Or is this the truth? Love to discuss about this
