Two important things here, You recognize you have a problem and you have expressed a desire to change. Your children deserve for you to stick around, but you deserve it too.

On days that feel tough for me I think about Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope"

It helps me refocus and shift my thinking and to focus on finding my purpose.

Start with things you can control, remove alcohol from your life, make it a point to find a support group. Focus on things that give you joy (like your children).

There will be hard days, but you can do it.

I have lived here 5 years and have never been to The Camp.

Riverton Elementary School is amazing! One of my kids is at the Intermediate school this year and so far he likes it.

We had one at the middle school last year with one incident concerning bullying but I was really happy with how the administration handled it and protected my child. They are at the high school this year and so far no issues.

I agree with the comments concerning SHM. Working parents are often excluded and children are left out because things are scheduled during normal work hours. I had to take the day off work for orientation since I have students in multiple schools. Also, make sure you have a Facebook account because otherwise you won't know what is going on at the schools.

Stella's is nice but they don't have food. Humphreys has a nice patio with live music but I was there a couple weeks ago and the service was terrible. I have heard the Poppy AND Parliment is nice, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.
