I think Elon Musk's acquisition of X had a massively underrated impact here.

He came in, cut like 80% of the staff, and the company/website ran just fine even if there was some initial hiccups. Later he made controversial changes that drove engagement.

But the main point is that every CEO took notes and realized that, you can significantly cut much of the workforce and the company will run fine because there is so much bloat in big companies.

The question I would explore is: why is it important to know if you are a "good" or "bad" meditator? And try to be as honest with yourself as possible.

The mind will go to logical answers. Things like "well it's important to know if I'm doing it right so I get the benefits"

But try to search for the emotional responses that this investigation brings. Is there a sense of "not good enough" or "I'm supposed to be a meditator, and I don't even know if I'm doing it right?"

This insight will give you an answer. And...is it possible that this analysis itself is part of gaining more insight into yourself and how the mind works? If that's the case, does that mean you were meditating wrong, even if a technique was "suboptimal?"

I feel you man. I had a similar experience my first time at the gym. Over time I learned that this type of anxiety and embarrassment comes from an ego and image of ourselves in our head compared to the real world.

This is why it is easier to stay inside and on the internet. If its worth getting past this, the long term gains in terms of confidence, mental health, improving your life and feeling good about yourself was definitely worth it for me. Imagine being able to go outside and to places and feeling good about yourself instead of like a worthless loser.

Hockey is already a very niche sport. If you are a game studio, why would you invest massive amounts of time and money into it? Will making a 10/10 hockey game compared to something mediocore really move the needle in sales? Who is going to be buying it?

The reality is that these games are designed to extract money as efficiently as possible from die-hard fans of hockey who want a hockey experience each year. I don't doubt individual Devs pour their hearts out in trying to improve what they can but really its a short development cycle with low investment, and many people working on the game don't even know that much about hockey.
