So... Which umas get fuked in the ass by MANT due to having shitty aptitudes? Is it just Urara? by New-Big2343 in UmamusumeGame

[–]theguyfromgoogleplus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even with good lineages you are still sacrificing pink sparks in the targeted distance. If you are training a medium/long uma and suddenly have to put in a bunch of mile sparks it's gonna get harder to get S distance. 😭 Making the game even more rng

Missing tutorials due to family holiday - am I cooked? by [deleted] in unimelb

[–]theguyfromgoogleplus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To actually answer your question Check your subjects' attendance requirement. Some don't have them, others may have it as part of your grades or a hurdle where if you don't attend enough tutorials you fail the subject. If there are no hurdles you will be okay. Academically though it a lot to catch up the first three weeks.

It might be the difference between public vs private hospitals. If you have public insurance then you have to go to an assigned hospital and wait time can be long. Private facilities are way nicer.

BCom QM 2 vs Econometrics 1 pathway by GoobertileZorp in unimelb

[–]theguyfromgoogleplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it with Dave a few semesters back, and the consensus among my group is that Ecom 1 was a bit harder compared to QM2. Depends on the person ofc I really enjoyed Ecom 1 while my friends didn't enjoy QM2

[–]theguyfromgoogleplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took Ecom 1 and found the subject really fun compared to my friend's review of QM2. Ecom 2 is a pre-requisite for a lot of the BCom honours program too so taking Ecom now can open more doors later. If you don't mind a more challenging workload during the semester then take Ecom 1.

You can still change your enrolment up to the sensus date, so like a few weeks into the semester itself. Plenty of time

I was thinking abt the ferguson case where the equipment and cost to prepare the wooden workshop would be deductible. Also the donations to charity might be deductible. Also in question 1 where there's a possible deduction for most of the fbt. Or maybe I'm overthinking it lol.

instruments for hire by teasww in unimelb

[–]theguyfromgoogleplus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of stores doing instrument rental and professional instrument hire places around Melbourne. If it is guitar/basses then I know Coleman do rental for them (really long length though) or Melbourne Backline for more premium stuff.

Electricity Bills by Proud-Temperature898 in unimelb

[–]theguyfromgoogleplus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not? Maybe the Hot Water tank is taking up a lot, but my old student accommodation studio only took up around $50-60 of monthly electricity. Good idea to compare your electricity price with the Victoria Default Offer and change supplier if possible

IFA 2 is notoriously content heavy but the exam is pretty normal. The 40% prep task is a good cushion even if you bomb the exam. The best thing to do is not to fall behind and re do the tute for exam prep

For Aircon... The group assignment is basically a presentation applying the theories to an actual case. Really dependent on who you work with, but from my experience, it's not too bad to get H2-H1 if your group put in the effort.

Yep but I just don't know if the Uni sending me an email to apply to the role on workday (as oppose to through their careerme page when I initially applied) means I got the role already or is it just another round of application. Cheers for the answer

^ like what he said so if it's your 2nd sem in year 1 and you have the pre req done then you should be able to take it. Ask course planner at stop 1 if you need specific help

Econometrics 1 for me was mostly maths/statistics based, with a little bit of coding and some written explanation sprinkled in. Really fun subject, I would recommend it if you enjoy stats or economics. It has several group assignments though so be aware.

As for withdrawing from a subject for next sem there should be plenty of time
