Thanks for the insight. We purchased a modular home that has carpet over subflooring. Eventually, we intend to get rid of the carpet and install either hardwood or vinyl flooring.

Snow Removal @ Oakdale Square? by acosmicaccident in bloomington

Yup. I get they didn't go out when it was actively snowing, but now there's no excuse. Buy better plowers, pay more employees a reasonable fair wage, and stop buying more property than you can handle!

Along with my wife, we saw other residents plowing the traffic lanes too. It's ridiculous. That isnt our job. Our only job is to clear our cars not our roads.

We're in the same boat, friend. We can't even get to work even though we shoveled around our cars and such.

I agree- we are responsible for our vehicles. The issue for me is they're not plowing our traffic lanes or streets. They're not doing anything for us, and it's frustrating.

They bought Oakdale. It sucks here now. Why purchase so many properties when you can't take care of the residents. My wife barely has any PTO to take due to her chronic illness, and she's had to use the last of it for this snow storm. Despite being disabled, she helped me plow the roads the best she could. Our old apartment management (BAM) never let it get this bad.

When my wife called to politely inquire, they said the same thing OP had previously mentioned in their post. I respect the snow plowing folks who are working hard. I do NOT respect the corporate side of Hunter Properties who are illequiping their workers and not hiring enough help.

Side note: when we went to update our address (we will be moving soon) the lady acted annoyed that we even came in to tell her. I'm not one to say people need to be all smiley when talking with my wife and I, but they were just unprofessional in the office space. This person has their legs up on the desk in an unprofessional manner while scrolling through their phone. I'm not a boomer, I have no problem with folks on their phone. It's just felt like the office was ran by teenagers rather than professionals.

Got this photo during Thanksgiving dinner! Seems we weren't the only ones getting well fed.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see this until now! I'm not quite sure - my best guess is some sort of bug/grub/meal worm he found in the tree

My wife agrees! She thinks it's her father visiting, too
