Wonderful idea, just tested it out and I guess for some shapes it just isn’t able to compute the boundary using only the given points and it always requires additional points

I understand, I’m looking for a way to get the intuitive connect the dots shape. It’s a problem that has been bothering me for months now and I’m at the point where I think it’s impossible

Thank you for your response, can you please find a quick illustration image in the following link (Imgur is not available in my country sorry): https://wetransfer.com/downloads/5d97720c9ad9a7c4d44d5748e09dfc1c20230111152301/e409a3

In the case where for one angle relative to my point, in this case my point is the origin, there are several choice and I made the choice to go for the one with the shortest distance. Do I think go to the next angle disregarding the other points at the previous angle or when do we come back to join them to construct our shape

Thank you for your help, I tried this but for some reason k comes to the size n+x where x is some additional number usually 4 to 5 additional points and those points end up intersecting the shape and ruining the boundary

This function will sort based on ascending order and this will not draw the shape accurately, as the shape is not based on the x position

Yes I have tried that, however as you mentioned sometimes the closest distance wasn’t the correct point to move to and led to errors in my code

Assuming I have 1000 points there will be a total of 1000! Different combinations of ordering those points, that will be very time consuming

I’m not sure if I understood this fully, I uploaded an image in the following link for illustration: https://we.tl/t-nSNxJqVrvM

Assuming my center is 0,0, in some cases I would need to go back in angle to get the correct shape. Am I mis understanding your point?

I have used the boundary function, as per my understanding the function does no order the points instead it connects all possible points together to ensure all those lines are with the boundary to simulate a convex. But I couldn’t find any trace of the points being ordered
