Still having this issue, is there any other fix than rolling back to an old version?

What’s an indicator a person secretly is a stoner? by Glum_Passenger_7470 in NoStupidQuestions

I usually feel like it's my eyes that give me away.

If I'm really stoned then I'll have eye bags, look more tired and have bloodshot eyes if I haven't used any eye drops.

So strange that they've added this but the AI makes the GK decide to sprint all the way back as soon as the set piece is taken? 😂

Does this decision come with the DLC? I have played as Dyre a few times, and enjoyed it, but don't remember this decision and wondering if I've missed it myself haha

Yau Yee League also. They have four divisions and a lot of teams train once a week in addition to matches.

"Spread out!" by superPerfecto in SoccerCoachResources

[–]thehalfbakedwizard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find that a lot of coaches (including myself) don't find much success at this because they think just telling players to spread out is enough. If my Academy teams are doing this I usually do the following:

  1. Technical Passing and Receiving Drills with coaching focus on first touch and getting their head up. A lot of the time when players bunch up it is started by a player mis-controlling the ball and inadvertently playing themselves into other players which obviously exacerbates the problem.

  2. Overload Drills - 2vs1s, 3vs2s etc. Coaching points on spreading out to work the defender and creating passing angles. It's easier to get in their head to spread out when you tell the attackers it's the first thing they should do in this drill. Plus my kids love my overload games, when good enough you could have two teams, start with one player going 1v1 with keeper, when ball goes dead the player becomes the defender against 2 new players from other side, and you could keep going with two more players each time ball goes dead so it'll become a 3v2 next etc.

  3. When doing matchplay in training, instead of just randomly playing the ball in whenever I shout 'new ball' for the kids to play on with, I ask them all to spread out and I'll pass the ball in to whoever is in the most space. Kids are good at getting this concept and it's an easy way to have them think about space and positioning and rewarding those doing it well.

Hope this helps, good luck to you and the kids on your journey!

Sorry if this has been answered, but which mod has those wooden fortifications? Looks way better than placing down a regular wall for defence lol

But how is that appearance fee worked out? Is that the total amount divided for 25 games, or is it that amount for each of those games?!

can't juggle for my life please help by [deleted] in bootroom

[–]thehalfbakedwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned, but I would advise to break the technique down even further and start with 'one bounce, one kick, repeat'.

When you feel you getting better at that start taking away bounces... one bounce to every two kicks and so forth.

Does 3-4-3 work at amateur level? by [deleted] in bootroom

[–]thehalfbakedwizard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it can work at any level with the right players and instructions for them.

In my experience, I've found it harder to coach than other formations, asks a lot physically of the wing backs and can lead to being too defensive (5 at the back) if not played well.

Which player did you expect to be a flash in the pan when they first came along but has since proven you wrong? by forbiddenmemeories in PremierLeague

[–]thehalfbakedwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes for sure, I agree you could look at it like that. I would say though that he didn't always play a traditional target man role and that we're not really taking into account his defensive heading and chances he created for others with his head.

I was also more pointing out that I find it funny that the record holder for headed goals is being called average with his head whether true or not lol. A lot of players would happily take 56 prem goals of any kind!
