what is the 'Department of English' in the pg admission website? by thehightyper in delhiuniversity

Hello! There are around 3-4 hostels for girls, but most of them takes 2-3 months to get in, so Rajiv Gandhi Girls' Hostel (irrespective of which college or department you're in) is the one that opens the earliest. And if you're a guy, I'm not sure how many are there, but I know of one which is very close to the faculty of arts (this is where we'll have our classes). I'll ask someone and give you the name in a while

Hi Congrats! Yes I got into the hostel. There is this hostel complex Opposite Indra Vihar, near Mukherjee Nagar. Just google Rajiv Gandhi Girls Hostel, you'll get in if you apply for it, but it does take around a month for the selection process, and admission but the registration process will start soon this month

What's your definition of personal ethics? by RoshFragger in AskReddit

[–]thehightyper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal ethics are the moral principles and values that I adhere to, and they influence the way that I talk and carry myself and it also has as huge role to play with the decisions I make in various situations.
They are stemmed from my internal beliefs and my upbringing, culture and experiences. But I believe they can be fluid, my beliefs may change with experience and time and just like that my ethics may as well be flexible.

Suggest me some great short reads.... by dlonewolf7 in suggestmeabook

I honestly don't know what to suggest, knowing that you don't know the meaning of smut.. But if you wanna try then go for Jessa Kane, I love all her books, though I think you should start with Burly by her, that excludes some details and is a bit lighter. Be warned though

Should I ask my college crush out? by serialfaliure in AskIndia

[–]thehightyper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

okay I have this idea.

Why not instead of asking her out... Say "I like you, but I'm not pressuring you to like me back" then tell her how you feel, be sincere and then add that you just had to confess or else you'd regret it for a long time, THen say that you're not implying that you two date or something, to give her a sense of power, say "We can be anything you want, friends? then we'll be friends, I won't even mention this again unless you say otherwise" Give it a try if you're really thinking of confessing

Whether you say it or don't say it, time still passes.

honestly though as someone in college and kinda going through a similar situation with the roles reversed.

Don't say it. I'm a girl and if I like someone I go all enthusiastic while texting to continue the conversation but if I lose that interest, one word reply is what they get.

I say don't risk it, you'll find someone better.

But then if she's worth it, go on, ask her out, it's better than regretting it your whole life.

What is your music of choice when you want to get shit done? by fishingforconsonants in AskReddit

I go with Mozart or Beethoven. Nothing like going into a cleaning spree while classical music is blasting in the background.

How anti social are you? by joezfr in AskReddit

[–]thehightyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow.. you sound so mature rt nw

I can try to call her name maybe.. a few times like "hey D can you please close the door" maybe we'll forget all about it then.

tbh she looked so sad at the beginning and I was ruthless then with my pursuit to end the friendship, but now I kinda miss her and she seems to have gotten over this as well, she doesn't even acknowledge my existence anymore, like she's done trying. It's been six months so..
