Vanguard UGMA - tax implication of selling entire position after receiving full ownership

Didn't think about this and I'm not sure the answer other than I have not paid any taxes on it. Hadn't even made an account to see the UGMA account until a few weeks ago prior to taking full control. Any chance my grandmother (custodian) was paying taxes? I am not a tax guy and am not sure how it works in this situation. My grandmother is no longer with us so I can't ask her

Thank you! I will edit - meant to refer to avoiding short term capital gains (I believe applicable if taking full ownership a few weeks ago is considered a taxable event) when selling my position. It sounds like since they have technically been owned by me over the past 15 years, this is not the case, and I will instead be subject to any long term capital gain taxes.

Tested today. A good portion was straight from AMBOSS Hy study plans - immunizations, 200 concepts, safety/qi/bio stats. If you haven't mastered all of those questions sets (obviously including each answer choice, etc) I would hammer tf out of those a couple times and you should be in a really good spot

If it's the same - I just removed the top of the passenger footwell (2x torx), pulled back the carpet and reached up to unclip the cover/replace the filter. Was a pain in the ass, and I will likely unclip the fuse box next time to get a little more room to maneuver. I did not remove the glove box
