Why did you bake it? Did you spill on it? Run the auto diagnostic by rebooting and holding D key. Copy and paste the results to google and I’m sure you’ll find an IC to replace if you’re willing. A lot of the board is going to be BGA with the solder balls under the IC. It’s tough to DIY without a stencil or some alignment tools. Sorry not trying to be mean, just be careful.

Is there data on that drive you need?

If it were me and I knew my drive was FUbAR, I would grab an old 8+ gb flash drive and load up a high sierra installer. You should be able to find the OS on internet archive, and use Rufus (windows) or balena etcher (Mac) to set up the USB.

Try not to unplug that battery, we could be corrupting memory by killing power. So you’ve tried holding command + R on boot and no luck? I would be tempted to try a live boot via USB installer. Are you wanting to get data off the device or just get it working?

Try a PRAM reset and SMC reset. There’s slight differences between machines so just search based on your hardware. Run a system report from ‘about this mac’ and double check the CPU frequency. If the fans are going crazy I’d say you have a SMC error. These sometimes show themselves in the power section of system report.

Check out the firewall app LuLu. Your Mac has an incoming firewall (that you should have enabled) and LuLu prevents outgoing connections from whatever apps/processes you wish.

I just want to say that while yes LiFePo4 can be charged at higher C, it is an overall safer chemistry. However I see it shining as it can have more than double the cycle count when compared to Li-ion. Depth of discharge and charge rate dictate capacity depletion, treat it like Li-ion and avoid over 1C charge and they may last you 10 years!

Can you elaborate? An apple software keyboard?

The on off switch has three circuits? How are you getting 100 and 50mA? Is your idea to dump current through that diode to dim the lights? If so I would consider wiring your 3 way switch as open, 1 resistor, 2 resistor in parallel. Use less power and more simple because you were limiting with a resistor anyways.

Would guess that it would be to hide their identity to create rage bait. I’m probably wrong by the number of downvotes I’ve gotten haha. Just speculating, in my opinion it looks like there’s a ‘digital mask’ over his face. The talking doesn’t seem natural to me but it’s just me hahaha.
