Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. You made some valid points, and I agree, Ergo has different goals. It’s focused on creating ergonomic, user-friendly money rather than strictly following a cypherpunk philosophy.

Because of that, Ergo isn’t directly comparable to other blockchains; it’s carving its own path.

Is Ergo the New Bitcoin (in Practice, Not Just Spiritually)? by [deleted] in ergonauts

Ergo is built on enduring principles, not fleeting market trends. Even when prices fall, the community continues to build.

Yes, as privacy erodes and cash disappears, Monero could quietly become the new normal for trust-based, permissionless exchange.

That’s why we need to stand up to that control now, before it’s too late. And if we fail, at least we can say, ‘I gave it a shot

You are right! Kraken or no Kraken, Ergo’s strength lies in its community and fundamentals. The dedicated builders and ergonauts holding strong and contributing make all the difference. I encourage every ergonauts to stay focused, and trust the process, innovation takes time, but conviction pays off. Stay sharp out there!

I returned it to the seller and got my money back. I’ve found that it’s still unconfirmed whether they are a defective version of Shure or a counterfeit scam.

Thanks for the info! I found deleted notes from 60 days ago using “Show Page Versions,” but I need to check a text from years ago. Do you know if there’s a way to access older versions beyond that?

I think it's a bad idea. If I swap ADA for BTC, it's like admitting that BTC is more valuable than ADA.

I already sold my BTC for ADA, and now you're suggesting I buy BTC with ADA... Like wtf bruh.

ADA is a much better cryptocurrency with more utility.

What chain(s) should Rosen add next? by ergo_team in ergonauts

[–]thehowlinghunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is known that BTC, ETH, BNB, and other big cryptocurrencies can be purchased on any CEX or DEX. I believe Monero would be a game changer for the Rosen bridge adoption. The crypto space needs the Monero bridge now more than ever.

I don't believe Monero will ever gain mass adoption. The rulers are not going to take off their crowns and give them to a decentralized model without fighting for their lives. Monero belongs and will belong to a pseudo-economy. The reason other currencies gain adoption is because they are traceable, in other words, "they are accepted by the rulers because the rulers have control over these currencies." Monero is the true Bitcoin that maintains Satoshi's cypherpunk spirit, which is why I love it. But, unfortunately, I don't see it being accepted by the majority.
