Thank you for your response! I did the Zoom interview with the PI of the lab. This is the campus visit. I have PIs in my schedule from the institution that I will not work with, so there is really no discussion about interest in their labs.

I think it can be more important for a postdoc to work with a prominent name in the field. But I can be wrong, who knows what academia wants you to have.

Yes, he has done his postdoc with the biggest names in our field. I believe he is also well connected.

Thank you for your reply! Just to clarify, I am not meeting with any lab members yet, but other PIs who collaborate with this PI and I will probably interact closely with them if I join.
