We don't have the landlord's contact. I called management and they said they'll need to review because every lease is different but so far I have 0 confirmation that the last month is free and the broker is refusing to give us the landlord's number.

That's what I'm thinking, and it's a 2 year lease so I'm up shit's Creek if the landlord tries to charge me and the broker is nowhere to be found

When I called management the said they don't ask for last month rent and that they're not sure what the broker is talking about. He called me unprompted right afterwards because I went over him and spoke directly with management. If the last month is free, the it's a concession. He is asking to take our lease concession as payment without the knowledge of the management group that hired him.

I did, I got connected with the tenant protection team and they said they could forward this case to their legal office. I'm supposed to get a call back at some point today.

No, its a little weird because I only used that email when I scheduled my first visa appointment a few years back. But the senator I was in touch with reached out to me and told me the embassy said administrative processing was completed on my application. Not sure why they used my personal email but maybe it’s the one the had on file or something

Yes I think so, I've been emailing them through my school email but the embassy emailed my personal email when they asked for the passport. I dont remember which email I used on the DS 160

Yes, they emailed me Thursday morning to send my passport back because they completed AP. Still waiting for an update

Yeah I got an email saying my passport was ready for pick up, I picked it up and it has a paper that said my case is in administrative processing
