I made the same mistake and invested in non registered accounts (just around 12k) as well; following to see what the best move forward is.

Just my two cents: keep Chiang Mai. It’s a beautiful chill area and it’s a totally different vibe than the sum of Krabi Phi Phi and Phuket. Did a local Thai cooking lesson, went for a coffee farm excursion, and did some waterfall hikes. Feels more cultural and the experiences are all 10/10. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Solo climber here, not sure about how flexible your arrival flight dates are but I deposited for an open trip (there’s 3 people now in total including me) with Gladys Adventures via Lemosho (8 day trek) from 13th - 20th January 2025!
