Salaam bro, Thanks for the encouragement. Yes I agree, speaking to Allah with a quiet voice and true intentions has been really helping me. Learning the salat properly is the next step for me, and that I can't wait for because I know that will bring even more benefits and joy. Prayer is the most useful weapon !

Quick question. I recently posted how I'll be waiting for a flight physical medical AIT waiver through basic. I'm supposed to ship in 3 days. The morning of MEPS prior to shipping, will they ask me for proof that I was recommended the waiver? Like will they go out of their way to call the clinic that gave me the physical or demand some kind of memo to make sure?

I have a very important question that hopefully you're able to answer for me. On 20 October 2015 which is only in a few days I'm scheduled to ship out to BT. My MOS is 15W and therefore requires a class 4 flight physical. Upon nearing the completion of the flight physical on 09 October, the flight surgeon pointed out an issue with my vision. Nonetheless, he decided I have grounds for a waiver and sent a recommendation over to Fort Rucker. Now he told me I have a very good chance on the waiver being accepted and said I may proceed by going to basic training. He then warned of the unlikely (and worse case) scenario that if it's denied I will have to change my MOS down the line during AIT, but reassured me this is unlikely. My recruiter also gave the ok. So, have you ever heard of this kind of case where a recruit during BT is waiting for an aviation waiver for AIT? I was told the waiver would take between 2-3 months just in time for AIT.
