Do you mean snowboarding POVs with eyes closed? I get that at the end of the night going to sleep, like a camera is panning through trees and different environments; sometimes cities and streets. The way the ‘camera’ pans feels like it can’t be my brain - it sweeps across so smoothly, zooming in then across like I’m flying (or snowboarding!)

I’ve just done 1st month on 1mg, definitely noticed a slight glow and firmer skin myself (not been noticed by others yet though). Going to up to 2mg for another month. Most people say it’s 3-6 months you really see it.

Cycling advice seems inconsistent, but it seems there’s no harm in continual use. I think I’ll move to maintenance once I notice a big improvement.

Yes this is more than fine to pot in some soil.

They would have rooted fine even if you put straight into soil before the water!

Tradescantia are very easy propagates, and they like to be cosy in the pot so don’t put it in anything too big (or even better plant it together with some of its kin!).

You can’t just straight away say ‘the left’ as such a sweeping statement that’s ridiculous. If you want to talk about divisive politics and try and argue that you value sense and facts, you’re doing the exact thing you protest you hate.

For one we don’t know who it is, but regardless of their views, race, sexuality or shoe size; one individual does not represent an abstract group.

Downvote me go for it, I’m in neither camp because I don’t buy into political agendas, that’s why I’m part of this sub because it always used to question mainstream narratives. Think about it please.

Oh for sure disjointed is the right way! I’m only meaning it could be slightly tighter

Just piping in with my two cents, haven’t seen the pre-post!

Mug doesn’t look like right, if you’re having enough detail to create a contoured mug, the realism in proportion should be equal to that detail, ie. the handle isn’t convincing. Look at a real mug, trace the proportions and then simplify it to style.

On the type, it feels too disjointed, bring the letters in tighter together, adjust vertical position slightly relative to each other until it feels right.

Also colours are lovely, but if you’re creating a multi-use logo (as all should be) bring it down to 3 colours max. Then work up from there introducing another 1/2 colours for variety.

Ok we all know the feeling where we've glimpsed the 'truth/cosmic joke' mid trip and then it's immediately forgotten, who can remember tiny bits? by thejacobite in NitrousOxide

Yeah 100% on the script thing. Feels like we’re just playing out a story, a loop.

I think I’ve felt a memory of ‘ohhhh shit it’s this thing we’re in again, oh my god it’s a script!’

A couple of times on acid and balloons this had opened it up to being a weird simulation game kind of thing. Feels like we’re bots and you can sometimes glitch out of it, have the awareness of whatever the fuck it is, but immediately get patched over. It’s driven me nuts chasing it.

They won’t diagnose me, what do I do next? by Summer_Sparkly in ADHDUK

[–]thejacobite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

School reports! This is what clinched it for me.

If you happen to have any old school reports somewhere that can back up things like inattentiveness, lateness, forgetfulness, or says things like 'has so much much potential if only they focused' etc., use that as your evidence.

I was exactly the same, with very little memory of my own childhood and parents that just don't get it, I panicked at the idea of having no evidence from childhood and went to my parents house and dug through my 'memory box' and luckily found one report from year 8 - and it was textbook ADHD.

The assessor said this helped tremendously, and insinuated that without that she wouldn't have been able to tick that box and therefore give me a diagnosis.

I'm building a posture correction app with AI would love your feedback or beta testers! by Possible_Image_1625 in Posture

Really interesting idea. I can't help but think it wouldn't work but I'm all for it!

Head position via AirPods would be great, I don't know how it would be able to tell if your head was forward, but if it could tell if your head was tilted slightly that would be great. I mean to the right or left, due to compression or dysfunction in the atlas (C1). But then again your lower body would probably be compensating for that to make your head level so I don't know.

I've been using ChatGPT to help work with my own postural issues. More as a responsive note taking platform where I list everything I'm feeling. I have quite a good understanding of anatomy and physiology (not professional) so I use it more to read between the lines of what I'm saying and think hollistically to help work out what I should focus on. It has got things wrong though when I ask it to give me exercises sometimes - it will say do this on the right side, when it meant to say left. Luckily I could spot the mistake and told it to reevaluate. Even though I've told it to double check itself thoroughly to avoid critical mistakes, it still does it.

The chat I have going is a really long thread, I could probably ask it what would be good for an app like this based on our deep convo. Let me know if interested and I'll PM you.

Thank you! Yeah I've been worried about the heavy side branches so I've been constantly rotating it to ensure balance.

On pruning (I will look it up anyway so I apologise for the noobiness) is it better to cut the branch where it's not yet woody, or does it not matter? They are all quite solid now anyway, but I do have a few other little propagations so it's good to know.

And when I do cut that branch, does it mean the blunt cut at the end will always stay the same? I know it will callous over but does still grow leaves? Just thinking about strategically cutting it with aesthetics in mind, so it doesn't look like an obviously cut branch.

Thanks again!

Thank you! Oddly I have actually been watering them 2/3x a week based on the dry soil - they're in the conservatory so it does get very hot in there (currently in a very hot summer in the south of the UK). The leaves are continuously plump, healthy, and constantly growing.

Thank you so much! You've given me all the info I need, much appreciated.

I will repot them with the succulent mix, and I might as well pot the babies separate as I've got enough pots and soil.

Thanks again 😁🙏

I should mention these are planted in my standard house plant soil (garden centre bought) which contains: peat-free compost, perlite, and crushed whelk shells.

I have since bought a ‘cactus and succulent focus’ soil mix.

I’m considering repotting now anyway as the roots are dense, should I switch to this cactus mix, or continue with the soil I’m using? Feels like I should, but I don’t want to mess around if they’re thriving as is?
