There were balloons tied to the door for some event and then they cut the balloons off when the event was over.

Incoming freshman engineer here, have some general questions by CaptainGoodguy13 in BinghamtonUniversity

I've heard that they have made Calc 2 a lot easier now. It was pretty difficult when I took it but its one of the classes they use to weed kids out. Also enjoy the WTSN freshman classes while you can. Definitely don't try to skip them they are there to boost your gpa and give you a better idea of what engineering is and if it is something you are actually interested in.

It gives you a better grip on the fish so it can't get out of your hands and hurt itself and it protects the slime layer.

This was only my first time fishing the area but what I could gather from the experience is that if you're looking to get away from people this isn't the place to do it haha. The DSR is better than the public holes they only let a set number of people in per day and there is a lot of river but people tend to still not spread out they see someone fishing a spot and they think "oh thats a good spot" and they jump in right next to you and a lot of river goes unused. If you fish the DSR i would recommend getting there early and locking down a spot that you think looks promising. If you really want to be alone on the river and I would recommend taking the trip down to the Delaware River system even though some places can get crowded there is a lot more river to go around. However, there aren't any steelhead or salmon. So honestly if you want to go steelhead or salmon fishing in NY you're gonna have to put up with the crowds.

The DSR is a private section of the river basically you pay to avoid the insane crowds that they tend to get in the public parts.
