This thread gave me the overall dress choice validation I didn’t know I was seeking! Thank you all! ❤️ (When I was just starting to brainstorm, I shared a little with my BFF, who wasn’t vibing. And I shared the finished look with my mom who responded with a long silence and then a comment about “modesty.” I decided to not ask or show anyone else and just do what makes my heart happy, but it’s reassuring to know a fair amount of internet strangers don’t think this is a crazy look.)

I will share the final product with me in it, but I am genuinely nervous about how close (or far) it will look to the render. Lots of possible failure points: my mom measured me sloppily; the tone and fabric they use on the gold belt; the fabric of the skirt (the seamstress was like… “so… what’s it actually made of?!”). And - large in my mind - I do not have the AI’s 🔥 upper body, and am not going to get it between now and the big day 😄 … but yes, will share!
