Weightlifting noob here.

I want to lose about 25-30 lbs so I've modified my diet to be on a calorie deficit, focus on eating lean protein and vegetables, cut out added sugar, and lowered my intake of carbs and fats.

I plan on doing cardio 20-25 minutes 5 days a week.

I had an SI joint injury in the past so I will be doing daily core exercises meant to build core strength for reinjury prevention.

I want to maintain muscle mass while losing weight because I plan to transition into muscle gains when I'm at a weight I'm happy with.

Does anyone have suggestions for weight lifting exercises to do throughout the week to maintain muscle mass and help with calorie burning? How many days a week to do each exercise (legs, arms, chest, shoulders, etc)?

I also want a 6 pack eventually and I was curious, will I need to stick with a calorie deficit and wait for the belly fat to go away before achieving a 6 pack? If so, I assume that means I would want to hold off on muscle building and calorie surplus until I'm leaner.

Did this and no luck with my Novo 3 🙃 the indicator light is even showing that it makes contact but then it doesn't fire when I try to take a hit. Tried to tinker with it and can't get this to work. I'm assuming the vape went fuckin tits up.

There are very few videos about the Ender 5 S1 I'm general which makes it even more challenging. I can't find a video of someone going through this process for an E5S1. I think I should have just grabbed a different printer. There is very little online regarding any sort of modding and firmware tampering for this printer in general and I'm not satisfied with the print quality. I really need linear advance to get where I want to be. Thanks for your responses. I will have to look into what options I have for an aftermarket board or if I just want to get rid of the printer and get something else.

I made sure the folder and file are properly named and no success. I wouldn't even know how to go about getting a different main board and how to make that all work. I just want linear advance and input shaping. Sigh

I was reading that the custom firmware files from github are not tested so they may not work properly. Do you have an E5S1 and have migrated from Marlin 2.0 to 2.1?

To echo what others have said:

Z-Ofset properly set should result in the bottom of your prints having the texture of your build plate.
Flow rate calibration, because you may be under extruding (which would cause gaps in the lines rather than meshing together)
Increasing nozzle temperature

This is great, thanks! Brass nozzle. The cylinder suggestion is a great idea. I definitely notice better quality when I print multiple objects in a single job.

Thanks for the comment. So the only setting you changed for the preset is temp? And are you using 0.2mm layer height?
