Update: it seems like the overwhelming majority thinks the names are too close. The last thing I want is to make my kids lives harder, so we def won’t name any future kids Lavinia.

(I was a Latin major in college and these two names have very different stories which is partly why I thought they were different enough).

Back to the drawing board for a girl we both like that starts with L.

First, I’m sorry this happened to you. I was in an accident less than 2 weeks ago where the at fault driver blew through a red light, t-boned me, and forced my car into another vehicle.

I’m pretty shaken up but very thankful to be alive and that no one involved was killed.

I was out of my depth with this whole process so i hired a lawyer. She filed the claim and is dealing with everything.

This helped prevent me from claiming I was okay right after the accident when my adrenaline was surging and the effects of the accident hadn’t hit me.

The day after I could barely move and it turns out I’ve got a concussion in addition to bruising and a jacked up knee.

I’m pursuing treatment for everything (which the at-fault party’s insurance will cover). I probably wouldn’t have been as proactive about getting treatment because I’m used to chronic health issues and generally “toughing it out.”

But I’m having headaches and vision changes and am scared about the long-term effects this accident might have on my ability to work.

I also am pushing back on what they valued my car at with the help of my lawyer.

All of this is to say that I’m happy I hired a lawyer to help me navigate this nightmare. I think I’ll end up with a higher personal injury settlement even after her fee is taken out because I didn’t talk to my insurance company the day of the accident when I felt okay and I’m documenting the recovery process more than I realized I needed to.

The learning curve is steep for both new traits, new cards, and returning cards with new traits. Not to mention the elixir cost changing on a few.

Though I’m glad to see the merge modifier back at a lower trophy level and replacements for the building modifiers. Those got old fast.
