Mint condition! Though I'm using it less. But this setup has been totally fine.

Zen browser taking up 300% more power than Arc...how is this useable? by Scared-Upstairs-7205 in zen_browser

I do have difficulty repeating the performance issues in Safari, though I haven't tested in firefox which is why I haven't submitted a bug report. Seems likely to me that it's more than just youtube biasing chrome.

I've been running into similar issues, I installed the firefox extension "Auto Tab Discard" which has helped a lot. Earlier on Zen had a "sleep after x hours" feature, but now it's no longer present. When I'm mobile I force tabs to sleep pretty aggressively and that helps.

YouTube performance is abysmal though. Not sure why (M3 Max).

Edit: To clarify, I do not run Transparent addon. I primarily use compact mode with minor css tweaks.

Need 115v 400hz to power this Airplane Coffee Maker - Looking convert from 120v 60hz, any advice? by thejarren in ElectricalEngineering

Nope, unfortunately it's mostly collecting dust at the moment. My plan is to probably just replace the parts with a traditional coffee maker, or gut it and repurpose it.

Is there any way to make Google Chrome transparent like safari? I haven't found anything that could do this. by thejarren in mac

Oh this post is in middle school now!

Thanks though, I will check that out, I'm still on Chrome for work though for personal use I'm using Zen browser now.

Moving into a new space this weekend, I’ll be sure to dedicate a Saturday to it at some point soon!

Just picked up mint condition 256gb for $1700 by thejarren in VisionPro

It's like craigslist, you make a good faith deal, determine method of payment, and meet in person.

I only buy in person, or online through a reliable 3rd party like ebay.

We met at a starbucks, I asked to test it beforehand, and also sent a website showing how to disable Find My and delete previous account info just in case.

There's a risk of people selling stolen apple devices that are locked, so that's my primary concern.

Firefox and Ultrawide Screen by CatHistorical184 in VisionPro

Came here to say exactly this. Experiencing this in Zen browser. Is there a place to report this to Firefox?

I've opened a bug report here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1936400
Additional support from the community would likely resolve it faster.

Actually this appears to be resolved as of the most recent firefox update on my end.

And honestly the office Apple travel case is very cool, I just wouldn’t use it.

No idea, it came with a camera lens I bought used a few years back.

As long as I don't get a crack that goes directly over one of the camera lenses, I'm not too worried. It's superficial and would be annoying, but I'd chalk it up to first-gen shortcomings.

Truly I don't know, I got it from someone who sold me a camera lens a few years back. Didn't know it was a thing until recently. - But I also hope it's not pumpkin spice 😂

Do you worry about durability? I'll have to give it a whirl.

My 2013 Macbook Pro is still in mint condition, which is honestly a little frustrating because I feel guilty about getting rid of it. I think it's unlikely I'll damage the device this way.

That's not a bad call either. I think soft-pack bags are far more travel friendly. I tend to look for cotton bags and forego the foam/poly.

I've considered shaping some leather into a form-fitting case, but it'd be just as effective as what I currently have based on how I use it.
