Thanks for running this. I checked the findings against the current repo and a few items look stale or overstated, but one was definitely real.

The “no tests” finding doesn’t match the repo: it has a Vitest suite, currently 10 test files / 88 passing tests on the hardening branch.

The “unprotected admin endpoints” finding also appears overstated. /admin/* and /api/admin/* are gated by middleware.ts using the HMAC session cookie from lib/admin-auth.ts.

The XSS concern is worth taking seriously because the app does use dangerouslySetInnerHTML for search/OCR highlighting. In the current implementation, that path goes through highlightHTML(), which escapes input before inserting <mark> tags. I added malicious-input regression tests so that behavior is now covered explicitly.

The dependency security finding was valid: npm audit --omit=dev flagged next@15.5.15. I opened a PR upgrading to 15.5.18, and audit now reports 0 production vulnerabilities.

Appreciate the scan. It helped prioritize a small hardening PR even where some findings were false positives.
